New, Upgraded Hybrid System for Rural Equestrian Centre Brings Greater Power and Some Breakfast Benefits

NJB Electrical installed and commissioned this new, upgraded hybrid system for an existing customer who had previously bought a smaller component system from Energy Solutions. Overtime, the system became too small for the loads they were running at their small holding, equestrian centre in Oxford and they came back to the team for a system review and update.

As their previous system had come to the end of its’ battery life and the inverter was not adequate for their new needs, it was an opportune time to look at a completely new system with greater capacity to match their new and potential load requirements.

The site is a considerable distance from any services, and there was still no affordable opportunity to get a mains connection, but with a borehole for water and a klargester for waste they are able to run a self sufficient system - getting the power right was the main issue.

After full discussions with the team, a plug and play EasyGrid system was recommended as it offered all the flexibility and capacity they were after. To complete the hybrid system they also included a new Himoinsa generator, and to gain full benefit from solar energy, a 4kW roof mounted solar array was installed on the barn where the whole system is sited.
