Lithium Batteries

HE SERIES

The HE battery series is based on a high energy density battery cell. This means more energy in less weight. The integrated battery management system brings the highest standard on safety and gives insight in the status of the battery. Flexibility in system configuration is created by a modular design. On a system level a voltage range of 25.2 V up to 465 V and a capacity range of 2.5 kWh up to 720 kWh can be created with the 25.2 V modules. They can also be connected in serial up to 16 pieces to a system voltage of 460 Vdc.

Module
Voltage: 25.2 V  |  Capacity: 2.5 / 3.75 / 5.0 / 7.5 kWh

HP SERIES

The HP battery series is based on a high power battery cell. This means high power output from a compact battery module. The integrated battery management system brings the highest standard on safety and gives insight in the status of the battery. Flexibility in system configuration is created by a modular design. The high power capability of this series can be used to start engines or in high ambient temperatures.

Module
Voltage: 25.2 V  |  Capacity: 2.3 / 3.4 / 4.4 kWh

LFP SERIES

This robust battery is based on LiFePo4 chemistry. With its high energy density it is the next level technology within this chemistry series. This series consists of a 12.8 V and a 25.6 V battery. Both are suitable for replacing existing lead-acid battery banks. They can also be connected in serial up to 16 pieces to a system voltage of 460 Vdc. The modules are very compact and light weight with high charge and discharge capability. At the same time the longer cycle life makes it the better choice compared to the traditional lead-acid batteries.

Module
Voltage: 12.8 and 25.6 V  |  Capacity: 2.7 and 7.2 kWh

UHE SERIES

The UHE battery series is the ideal solution when a really high energy density battery is required. The battery module uses battery cells with an energy density of 270 Wh/kg. The integrated battery management system brings the highest standard in safety and gives insight in the status of the battery. Flexibility in system configuration is created by a modular design. On a system level a voltage range of 25.2 V up to 465 V and a capacity range of 5.5 kWh up to 800 kWh can be created with the 25.2 V modules.

Module
Voltage: 25.2 V  |  Capacity: 5.5 and 8.3 kWh

RS SERIES

High safety and flexible system configurations were the design principles during the development of the RS series Lithium-Ion batteries. A modular and compact design makes system integration more flexible, especially in refit projects. Adding redundant BMS and a unique cell-to-cell propagation protection takes safety to the next level. The liquid thermal management keeps the battery cells on temperature to extend cycle life and improving the peak power performance. These features makes this battery suitable for large energy storage applications as well as small peak power packs in hybrid solutions.

Module
Voltage: 44 V, 51 V, 58 V and 88 V  |  Capacity: 7.4 kWh and 8.4 kWh

System
Voltage: 44 V up to 900V  |  Capacity: 7.4 kWh up to > 10 MWh

Monitoring

MG ENERGY MONITOR

MG’s Energy Monitor controls and monitors MG battery systems. The high resolution display with touch screen shows all important battery parameters at a glance. This high IP65 display connects to the BMS CAN-Bus interface of the MG Master LV or HV. The integrated wifi module is able to connect the display to the cloud and makes it possible to remotely monitor your system with our Energy Portal.

  • CAN-Bus interface
  • IP65
  • WiFi enabled
  • Small 3.5 inch display
  • Touchscreen
  • Short start-up time ( < 1 sec.)

MASTER HV

Protecting, monitoring and controlling a battery system is very important to create a safe, reliable and easy-to-use system. The MG Master HV is the safety and control unit of the battery system. It protects the connected battery modules against over-charging, over-discharging, over-temperature, under-temperature and controls the balancing of the battery cells. Besides a safety function, the Master HV monitors and tracks other important parameters to give insight in the battery status and energy consumption. The compact design makes it ideal for use in applications with limited space.

Module
Voltage: 144 up to 800 V  |  Current: 300 and 500 A versions are available

MASTER LV

Protecting, monitoring and controlling a battery system is very important to create a safe, reliable and easy-to-use system. The MG Master LV is the safety and control unit of the battery system in the range of 12 V to 96 V. It protects the connected battery modules against over-charging, over-discharging, over-temperature, under-temperature and controls the balancing of the battery cells. Besides a safety function, the Master LV monitors and tracks other important parameters to give insight in the battery status and energy consumption. The integrated DC distribution, fuse holders and safety contactor make it easy to install and require less cables and external equipment.

Module
Voltage: 12 up to 96 V  |  Current: 150 / 400 / 600 and 1000 A versions are available
