EasyGrid MOVE: pre-order portable power for the jobs ahead

When a job takes you beyond a convenient power socket, setting up the supply can become a job of its own. You need to get on with the work, not reorganise it around where the electricity happens to be.

EasyGrid MOVE is available to pre-order for our next delivery. Take a portable battery supply to the point of work, with an alternative to running a fuelled generator for suitable tasks.

Expected dispatch: 15th October (subject to incoming stock arriving as scheduled.)

Take power to the job

MOVE supplies 230V AC power for compatible tools, lighting and chargers, in a hand-carried format. You can take the supply to the work area rather than organise every task around a fixed connection.

Start with the task you need to complete. Are you maintaining a marina, preparing a work area in a shipyard or moving between jobs on a boatbuilding site? Where a convenient electrical supply is missing, portable power gives you another way to plan the work.

For this kind of job, the question is not how to power an entire vessel. It is how to get electricity to the equipment you need at that particular location. That is the role MOVE is intended to fill.

Check the numbers that matter

Review the equipment you plan to connect against the MOVE specification, rather than choosing on portability alone.

Specification EasyGrid MOVE
Rated AC output 3.6kW
Output supply 230V pure sine wave
Battery capacity 2,304Wh (approximately 2.3kWh).
Unit weight 24kg

Match the battery to the job

Output and battery capacity tell you different things. The 3.6 kW rating describes the unit’s rated power output; the 2.3 kWh figure describes its stored energy. Runtime depends on the load, so neither figure is a promise of all-day operation.

Before ordering, check the equipment’s running and starting demand, connections and required runtime. Plan how you will recharge between jobs, and follow the product instructions and your site’s operating requirements.

Keep refuelling out of the task

Battery operation means no petrol or diesel refuelling at the point of use, and no exhaust from a running generator beside the job. The battery still needs recharging, so include that in the plan rather than treating it as an unlimited power supply.

Buy with UK-based support

A clear specification matters. So does knowing where to turn when you have a question. EasyGrid MOVE is supported by Energy Solutions’ UK team, with advice on suitability and help after purchase.

We work across marine, vehicle and off-grid power. Bring the requirements of the job to us, and we can help you check whether MOVE is the right fit before you order.

Pre-order for the next delivery

Planning work that could benefit from a portable supply? Pre-order your EasyGrid MOVE and check the expected dispatch window before arranging the job around it.

This is a pre-order and is not available for immediate dispatch. Expected dispatch: 15th October (subject to incoming stock arriving as scheduled.)
