Offering a modern, clean alternative to small diesel engines we now have available a range of 48 Volt electric inboard motors suitable for all inland waterway craft from day launches to narrowboats.
The electric engines are designed to be a direct replacement for a traditional diesel engine both in size and cost - perfect for boat builders and owners that are looking to reduce both noise and emissions. The range of Waterworld engines offer an efficient and reliable electric alternative and are already well established in the Netherlands with both fleet operators and private owners.
The WaterWorld models include a motor and controller in one unit on adjustable engine supports, thrust bearings, relay, digital colour touch screen display and throttle. Available in 4, 7.5, 10 and 15kW models the electric drives start at just £3,500 + VAT.
Complete System Design
We offer a range of 48 volt chargers and inverter/chargers as well as lead-acid and lithium batteries to complement the WaterWorld system. The efficiency of the drives means that users will be able to get an excellent range from the systems as well as finding them easy to service and update. If users need extended cruising as well we can also supply generators that complement the electric system.
